In 2017 Gil Mualem Doron organised and ran a workshop for members of the Migrant English Project. Working with Gil, former refugees and migrants created a series of collages, narrating visually stories of places in Brighton that reminded them of places from their former countries using imagery of the city and their former homes. The digital collages were printed on porcelain plates and exhibited during the Brighton Festival. You can read more about the project and exhibition here. The project was a great success and Gil is running the workshop with members of MEP again this year.
